What should I do when a cute girl sits next to me?
I was sitting on the bus when this real cute girl got on and stood nearby. It wasn't a good spot because she had to keep moving so people could get by so she looked around for some where else to stand. I looked at her for a second so she could see me and she did.
She came and stood in front of me. I adjusted myself so if she wanted she could sit, she put her bag on the seat. I looked up at her again and caught her eye. She finally turned around and sat next to me, which was what I intended. The seats were close enough that we were sitting knee to knee and shoulder to shoulder.
She didn't seem to mind that her bags or legs were touching me, other women usually adjust themsleves.That was pretty much it. I was too nervous to turn to look at her. She looked at me though and only stayed for a few stops. I realized she could have stood if she wanted. I felt like an idiot after that.
I need help.
A smile works wonders. But don't use a goofy grin. Most people still like to be noticed, and given a short, polite "Hi", or even use some other short opener. Then wait for a reply, if she's interested, you'll know, if not, move on.
