Yeah, it does seem to be hell of a old school organization, and times they are changing.
I get that the filmmakers who do not want to get 'R' ratings because it means less money might have to resort to whatever measures the MPAA try to enforce. If that means no smoking for the sake of a lower rating, that is sad.
I used to feel completely out of place in terms of the advancements in the movie industry and I too have resorted to downloading and such, but I must admit that I have never cared about restrictions – they mean nothing to me.
If the MPAA continue to kick it old school, I would gladly show them the door, because I do not give a damn what they have to say really.
