I’m glad I’m not the only one who is mystified by the appeal of the sweatpants with fancy lettering on the ass, and the Affliction/Ed Hardy shirts. Great, your ass is “Juicy”. Not sure if I’m supposed to be turned on or turned off by that. I also share some of your nostalgia for the way in which people generally dressed “nicer” in past decades, and similarly found it fascinating how a suit used to be the man’s basic uniform for going out in public (even to a ball game). Not sure how I’d feel about living that way – I like to dress up, but I also enjoy the option of being casual (though casual can still be classy). And I confess, sometimes I wish that nice hats were still a staple of a man’s wardrobe. Some of this is probably rose-colored nostalgia for the past, but it is what it is.As far as sexy goes? I like elegance, and class, and sometimes the most revealing garment isn’t the sexiest – it’s the one that leaves something to the imagination, the one that hints at curves but leaves something to be savored later. If you dress like you don’t have respect for yourself, that’s a turn-off. It’s not just about the clothes, too – confidence, humor, personality are a big part of the equation.As far as the comment that was made regarding your picture, I find it bizarre in several ways. How could someone draw a conclusion regarding what you look like from your blog, and what does it matter?
