I have a question about my cavities.?
I have three cavities and the dentist told me that one of them was resin three surf posterior, the second one is resin composite-two surf poster and the third one is resin composite-two surf poster. What does this mean? Are these cavities deep and are going to be root canals soon. If so how long will it take these cavities to turn into root canals?
Basically the one two three is the deepness of the cavity. 3 being more severe then a one surface.
It could take months for it to become a root canal. However, it depends on when you were diagnosed with the cavity and when you actually got the cavity.
The one and two should take a while to become a root canal.
The level 3 could take several months, but if you have the insurance get it done before it causes any pain.
