Personality Characteristics of basketball players?
is it true that what sport you play can influence your personality?
if so, then what is the personality of a basketball player? according to this magazine I read football players like girly girls, basketball players like girls they can show off to, and surfers like girls that aren't afraid to get outside and get a lil dirty or something. What would a cheerleader or poms (basketball cheerleader) be also?
You have many questions here...
As far as relationship between sport and personality - it's not so easy.
Does playing baskteball shape a personality or do people of particular personalities choose to play baskteball? It is probably both. Anything that you do, not just such a social and competitive activity as playing basketball will affect a person's personality.
The personality is usually defined as a set of behaviors and outlooks on life, ways people talk and relate to others, ways they react to events and just present themselves, all of these ways if they are consistent with time, and unique to an individual, that's called person's personality.
Usually, it is said, personality, or character, is forming from early childhood through adolescence, teenage years. So, most of what makes a person who he/she is, has been formed before let's say 16, in my opinion. So, if a 16 year old starts playing baskteball then, it's likely that basketball will not change his personality dramatically.
Basketball playes have all kinds of personalities, but I would say big part of them should have a social personality, as well as competitive one, with desire to improve the game skills.
As to what kinds of girls basketball players like, I think it's like other guys, they would like good-looking girls, outgoing, friendly, intelligent. Anyeone would want to feel proud to show off his girlfriend to his friends.

where can i find a professional surf camera?
can anyone give me a link to website that sells a camera that someone would use for a magazine like surfer or something? not that GoPro crap, i mean one that someone else swims with and takes pictures
Are you a photographer and seriously considering surf photography or are you just interested in it? Proper gear can run up into the ten-thousands range and if you want the full nine yards you're looking at spending even more. I went down this road about a year ago and did the research and realized that I just don't have the income to give it a go. If you do have money at your disposal than you're probably going to want to do some serious research aside from hearing what someone has to say on the internet because you're looking a thousands of dollars here. A lot of surf photographers will tell you try out the cheap stuff first to see if you really want to do it, especially with all of the underwater digital cameras you can get these days. Best of luck with whatever you end up doing.
