Can I use Cardy Uggs for the Winter?
Im planning on buying a pair of Cardy Uggs for the winter and I just wanna ask if it can protect me through the winter season.
Is it water/snow proof?
warm enough?
good traction?
worth it?
and I also ask your opinion what color to buy..
Black or Gray?
Im leaning more on the Gray but I still want your opinions. thanks!
I love the cardys but my feet get a little cold in the winter due to the knit...so I bought myself a pair of wool socks ! and they are fine...a no no and no good on the snow and you cannot waterproof them...they are fabric...grey are beautiful...but black goes with more! and in my opinion they are a bit less comfortable than the original ones.
uggs will always be worn if it is cold enough...they have been around for many many years and some idiot had the idea to make it a fashion trend...and now they are little girls out there that think they are "out of style" ugh they will never be out of style...if its cold they are going to be worn...and they are extremely comfortable..I have a stress fracture and these are one of the only shoes I can wear.

O Gauge MTH Train Realtrax Track, Can it be washed?
I have MTH Realtrax track for my sons O Gauge trains.
It is great, as it is rugged and comes with the plastic roadbed.
At his young age, it is perfect.
However, it gets really dirty. The black stuff that accumulates gets pretty messy.
I wipe it down with Goo Gone and get it clean, but I would like to really scrub it down.
Can I put these in the sink and give them a good scrubbing?
I know I would have to dry them immediately and then wait a while for them to dry, but was wondering if this would do any harm?
I noticed that most of the black gunk comes from the traction wheel as it is being worn out.
Can I run the train without the traction wheels? I know I would not have as much traction, but for a simple oval track, I'm not sure I would need it. He rarely pulls more than 2-3 coaches.
Not a problem giving the tracks a good scrub in your sink.
Do not use an abrasive cleaner, just soap and water.
You can gently use some 0000 steel wool, Just on the track crown/ top
to insure a good electrical connection to the engine.
Not sure about running it without the traction wheels.
